Alisa Clausen is a potter, educated in the USA and a danish journeyman potter. Look into Alisa's open workshop, and you will be in the middle of professional ceramics.You can also experience how Alisa Clausen turns a lump of clay into figures, jugs, arts & crafts etc. You can see how jars are turned, turned-off, decorated, glazed and burned - the whole process, where a simpel lump of clay becomes a finished piece of ceramic handicraft. In the ceramics store on the hayloft you can buy the different and various versions of cups, bowls and jugs. On the shelves there are unique houses and angels for tealight candles, *"Bom" cans from southern Jutland with burglar alarm, and various decorative articles. There is also the possibility to order a personal piggy bank or handmade mug with a name on, i.e. for a confirmation or christening gift. Everything is made of stoneware of high quality and with a food friendly glazing. *Bom is the expression in souther Jutland for candy and sweets. |
